This was my 1st experience going to the PBR. I took my daughter, Jodi, my sister-in-law, Donna and my friend, Diane.
We drove 454 miles down to Des Moines, Iowa on May 2 for the 1st night, May 3 for the 2nd night, and May 4, the drive back home again.
I was totally blown away down there. I have been watching bull riding for many, many years and to experience first hand, was the best.
I wanted to see Adriano one time before he retires after this year's finals in Las Vegas the end of Oct. And 1st week in Nov.
My ultimate dream was to get his autograph and have my picture taken with him, but that didn't work out, but I did get autographs and pictures with this year's #1 rider, Guilherme Marchi.
I also got a load of other authographs, Mike Lee, Wiley Peterson, Brian Canter, Ben Jones, Kody Lostroh, just to name a few.
After both events, there was an "after party" for the riders and fans. It was pretty cool to watch the "boys" do some dance moves out on the floor.
The 2nd night, we had a few beers with Chad Berger, one of the top bull breeders around. His most famous bull is Little Yellow Jacket, who he retired a couple years ago.
Next in line is Copperhead Slinger. What an experience for me!!!! I felt like I was a little kid in a candy store, and Jodi will atest to that!!! She thought I was a little crazy, but it was just way too much fun.
I thank the PBR, all the breeders for the great bulls, the bullfighters for keeping the guys safe, and to all the bull riders for just being so great and gracious with all their crazy fans.
My cowboy hat off to all you guys. I love you all.

For the third time this season Guilherme Marchi was a model of consistency in winning yet another event. The Brazilian was the only rider to cover all three bulls at the Des Moines Classic
